React Developer – Greater London

We are seeking an experienced React Developer to join a pioneering video streaming technology company that specialises in dynamic ad insertion for live and catch-up content.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative web-based platform management tools that support a core streaming infrastructure used by major broadcasters globally. You’ll be part of a senior development team building modern, interactive user interfaces and reusable components using React and TypeScript, with exposure to full-stack development using frameworks like Remix.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based tools for platform configuration and support.
• Build reusable UI components aligned with design systems (e.g. Figma).
• Contribute to the development of a web SDK for connected devices.
• Collaborate across the full software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of commercial experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with React.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with modern front-end tools (e.g. Babel, Rollup, Jest).
• Exposure to Node.js and full-stack development frameworks like Remix.
• Experience with Git, issue tracking, and documentation tools.
• STEM degree or equivalent qualification.

Some of what you'll do

• You'll work closely with operations and solutions architects to support the roll-out and continued maintenance of the company's core SaaS solution
• Troubleshoot and triage 1st line issues regarding client-side integration for mobile, web and connected TV (CTV) platforms
• Gradually deepen involvement in customer projects, supporting the onboarding of logo broadcast and MSO clients onto the companies dynamic ad insertion (DAI) platform

What you'll bring to the table

• 3+ years of experience working in Linux environments (CentOS/RHEL) and competency with shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Perl, Python) or other scripting languages e.g., Perl
• Expertise with high availability systems and large scale web applications
• Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and an appetite for continuous learning, particularly an interest in the world of video streaming and, the platforms and devices that power the space
