More recently they have been asked to launch a programme to biuld a Data control plane - a higher level control environment across data ecosystem - this programme’s mission of automating data governance high risk, high reqard 0 that is the overall ambition.

 

Context:

Can they do things differently -Old world reliatant on basic scraping of data platform and what people entered manually to describe the data but they really want to reimagine the data governance world - taking advantage of AI - dataloguing - language problems - have done some initial POCs and its very interesting, but they realised they didnt have the AI maturity to understand how they may biuld and deploy something that could take care of some of this automation.

They are biulding a data control plane with ai automation for data governance 

 

Experience they are looking for:

• All Must have data experience
• 3 headcount - very data focused, 1 headcount fullstack and AI and 1 headcount UI (with some AI beneficial)
• Need to have done more than just Proof of concept - needs to get stuff into production
• Have experience for AI production use cases end to end - including - Agentic workflow production scale perspective, agentic frameworks, guardrails, end to end to evaluation - evaluate output aGENTIC 
• Return on investment / evaluation
• Would be working closely with other teams to integrate with other business areas - central teams - Mostly internal central tech teams mainly 
• basic agentic frameworks -AWS agent core, langchain.

 

Team size

Total team size would be 8-10 people in total - some will be sourced internally to draw from other teams

 

Timeframe - As soon as possible but are working on budget will have this by end of July at the latest, need our support with feedback on rates - Can expedite - presales initially - individaul SOWs 

 

Headcount - 4-5 (3 data ai focused, 1 person to be strong with UI and AI, and one fullstack with AI)

Full Stack Developer — AI Applications

We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer to design, build, and support AI-powered applications from the ground up. You will own both the frontend and backend, work directly with modern AI agent frameworks, and help shape the architecture of a new platform. This is a builder’s role for someone who enjoys taking a product from a blank page to a production-grade, well-tested system.

• Design and build end-to-end features across the UI and backend API layers.
• Architect and structure new applications from scratch — data models, API contracts, service boundaries, and frontend structure.
• Build and integrate AI agent workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangSmith, Strands SDK, and Agent Core.
• Develop responsive, accessible user interfaces with React.js, TypeScript, and/or Angular, including styling and UX polish.
• Design and implement backend APIs (REST and/or event-driven) that power the application and integrate with AI services.
• Work with relational and other data stores — modeling data, writing efficient queries, and building reliable data access layers.
• Build with security and access control in mind (authentication, authorization, role-based access) appropriate to a regulated financial environment.
• Write unit and regression test cases to ensure reliability and prevent regressions.
• Support and maintain the platform in production — monitoring, debugging, and iterating on live systems.
• Collaborate closely with data, platform, and business teams to deliver features in an Agile environment.

• Proven, hands-on experience building both UIs and backend APIs.
• Strong frontend skills with React.js, TypeScript, and/or Angular.
• Solid backend development experience in a modern language (e.g., Python, Java, or Node.js).
• Experience with databases and SQL, including data modelling and query design.
• Experience designing application architecture and structure from scratch.
• Practical experience with AI agent frameworks: LangGraph, LangSmith, Strands SDK, and Agent Core.
• Experience writing unit and regression tests.
• Proficiency with Git and modern code review / CI-CD delivery practices.
• Comfortable owning both styling/frontend and backend/API concerns.

• Cloud engineering experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience writing evals to measure and improve AI/agent performance.
• Experience designing and building AI agents.
• Experience supporting production platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
• Exposure to data governance concepts (lineage, cataloging, access control).
• Prior experience in financial services or another regulated industry.

A self-driven full stack engineer who is equally comfortable designing an architecture, styling a UI, wiring up an AI agent, and writing the tests that keep it all stable — someone who wants to build and own real products end to end.

About the Role

You will play a key role in shaping the frontend architecture of a new platform and data control plane, creating intuitive, responsive, and accessible interfaces that enable users to interact seamlessly with complex data and AI-driven workflows. What You'll Do

• Design and build responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces using React.js, Angular, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop reusable UI components, design patterns, and frontend architecture that can scale across multiple applications.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, AI services, and agent-based workflows.
• Build engaging user experiences for AI-powered applications, including conversational interfaces, data visualisations, dashboards, and workflow tools.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility, usability, and performance standards.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls within frontend applications.
• Write unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Support and maintain production applications, troubleshooting issues and continuously improving the user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience building modern web applications and enterprise user interfaces.
• Experience ideally within financial services, capital markets or enterprise scale data environments in a related industry.
• Experience working with AI, building agentic AI workflows or integrating AI agents.
• Exposure to AI-driven products, LLM applications, or agentic AI platforms such as LangGraph, LangSmith, Strands SDK, or Agent Core.
• Strong experience with React.js, Angular and TypeScript.
• Cloud experience with AWS
• Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, component design, state management, and application structure.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and external services.
• Experience working with modern testing frameworks and writing automated frontend tests.
• Experience building reusable component libraries and design systems.
• Strong focus on usability, user experience, and visual quality.

Nice to Have

• Experience building conversational user interfaces or AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience with data visualisation frameworks and dashboard development.
• Experience supporting production applications and CI/CD pipelines.
