A high performing multi Strat-hedge fund is expanding its Macro trading footprint and seeks a seasoned Application Support Engineer to build and own the front-office support function. This is a rare opportunity to shape a greenfield environment and work directly with investment professionals in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead support for Macro trading applications across production environments
• Manage incidents, outages, and stakeholder communications with precision
• Design onboarding workflows for new users, including access and limits
• Drive automation and process improvement across support operations
• Mentor junior team members and maintain robust documentation
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure system resilience

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years in financial services application support
• Strong SQL and scripting (Python, Shell)
• Deep Unix/Linux experience
• Proven leadership in outage resolution and client-facing incident comms
• Solid understanding of order management workflows and trading systems
