Full Stack Python Developer | Fintech | Full Time
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer for a Global Financial Markets development team with strong experience managing the complete development lifecycle of software applications to support traders and salespeople in their daily business activities. With your analytical and problem-solving skills, you will join a dynamic team and be responsible for managing each stage of development from gathering business requirements to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire development process, including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, implementing features, and conducting thorough testing.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications while ensuring high standards of code quality and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance, to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
- Oversee the deployment process and ensure ongoing maintenance and support for applications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Over 4 years of professional experience in full stack development with a strong portfolio showcasing developed and completed projects.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, TypeScript) and experience with frameworks such as Angular
- Proficiency in back-end technologies with solid experience in Python
- Experience with relational databases; PostgreSQL is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud technologies, including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong work ethic, dedication, analytical thinking, and a problem-solving attitude.
- Experience or knowledge in finance or financial markets is an asset.
- AI/GenAI Frameworks (Desirable)
