Job Description
We are currently working with a leading global hedge fund that is expanding its European operations and opening a brand-new London office as part of a wider growth programme. They're looking for an experienced End User Support Engineer to support traders, senior stakeholders and the wider business.
The role will involve:
- 1st & 2nd line support across trading and business users
- Hardware, software and application troubleshooting
- Trade floor and end-user technology support
- Meeting room and AV support (Teams, Cisco, Logitech, Crestron)
- Managing and escalating critical incidents
- Working closely with infrastructure and global technology teams
Responsibilities:
- Identifying, diagnosing, researching, tracking and resolving complex technical problems
- Escalating issues and facilitating user assistance from third parties or other IT groups as needed
- Providing excellent customer service experiences for all end users, traders and senior leadership
- Working effectively in a cooperative and collaborative global team environment
- Escalating, coordinating and managing incident response for critical firm-wide issues
- Troubleshooting technology issues related to hardware, software, user accounts, trading environments, operating systems and mobility
- Engaging in technical collaboration with other Infrastructure groups and business IT teams as appropriate
They're particularly interested in candidates with experience across:
- Windows, MacOS and mobile device support
- M365 / Exchange
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and VPN
- MDM / BYOD environments
- Video conferencing and meeting room technologies
- High-touch support for front-office users and senior stakeholders
Key details:
- Brand-new London office
- Monday-Friday onsite (8am-5pm)
- Initial 12-month contract with strong extension potential
