Caspian One is partnered with a forward-thinking Front Office Platforms team, looking to bring on a talented DevOps Engineer to support their growth and commitment to delivering world-class technology solutions. As part of this team, you'll work closely with quantitative developers, portfolio managers, and trading teams to provide impactful and innovative technology and data-analysis solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance platform features for Front Office use across various teams.
• Contribute to a modern, automated, cloud-native continuous delivery stack.
• Collaborate with quant development teams to understand and address requirements for strategic internal products.
• Improve the security, reliability, and cost-efficiency of Front Office platforms and infrastructure.
• Drive automation across DevOps and cloud toolchains wherever possible.
• Advocate for best practices in Cloud and DevOps.
• Dive deep into new stacks, understanding core concepts and resolving challenges.
• Tailor solutions to meet specific trading team needs, implementing reusable patterns when appropriate.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• At least several years experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE
• Strong experience with CI/CD technologies.
• Cloud expertise with at least one provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficient in Linux, automation Scripting, and basic database knowledge.
• Skilled in deployment unit types: Servers, containers, serverless frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or similar container management tools.

Desirable Skills:

• Software engineering background.
• Familiarity with AWS, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Python, Packer, PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of distributed computing tools
