They are currently undertaking a significant network upgrade project and are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join the team.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect working on several projects including a network upgrade. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing infrastructure solutions to enhance the network's performance, reliability, and scalability with a focus on security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to translate into practical Azure Networking solutions using zero trust architecture design principles?
  • Design and deployment of Microsoft Active Directory and associated authentication techniques (Sentinal/PKI etc)
  • Microsoft SQL architecture and integration
  • Architecture and implementation of identity & access and privilege management
  • Windows security and system hardening for Servers/desktop/laptops and Windows server clustering
  • Design & deployment of VMware, Hyper-V and other Virtualization Technologies.
  • Linux architecture & integration with Active Directory
  • Basic knowledge in core enterprise network design & infrastructure.
  • Storage hardware including NAS & SAN environments.
  • Microsoft Security Practices including experience in the design of group policies, machine hardening & management.
  • Public Cloud capabilities
  • Writing concise technical documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect, with a focus on Networks.
  • Knowledge of Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and associated technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

 

Two days a week in office, Inside IR35 Contract for 3 months
