We're hiring several Senior Site Reliability Engineers to help shape a Centre of Excellence for SRE practices across a global tech estate. This is a high-impact, hands on role where you'll engineer automation frameworks, elevate observability, and transform incident response at scale.

You’ll be the go to expert guiding strategy, influencing culture, and driving adoption of SRE principles across diverse teams. From scripting to architecting resilient systems, your technical leadership will directly improve performance, scalability, and availability.

 

What you’ll do:

System Reliability & Performance: Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and scalability of services through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and capacity planning.

Incident Response & Prevention: Lead resolution and analysis of system outages. Implement preventative measures to reduce recurrence and improve system resilience.

Automation & Tooling: Develop scripts in Python or Go and tools to automate operational processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance efficiency.

Performance Optimization: Monitor system metrics, identify bottlenecks, and apply best practices for performance tuning and resource utilization.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with development and infrastructure teams to embed reliability and scalability into the software development lifecycle.

We’re seeking a senior Engineer to shape the future of a global developer platform for a large Investment Bank. This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on architectural influence, developer productivity, and cloud-native excellence with oversight of a team of four.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Guide platform architecture to maximise developer efficiency, scalability, and security
  • With an engineering background you will be working closely with Python development teams
  • Influence cloud-native design across AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, EBS, EFS, etc)
  • Act as SME for Kubernetes—cluster design, scaling, and operational best practices
  • Champion DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Engage directly with developers to streamline workflows and reduce friction

Job Title: C# Developer, AVP

Location: London

Company Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a large sell-side firm that is seeking a talented C# Developer to join their team. The team is responsible for an on-demand option pricer, a desktop application used for pricing rates and FX. 

Role Description: As a C# Developer, you will work closely with the team to support and enhance the pricing activities. The team collaborates with trading, sales, and other groups to support pricing needs for the API. You will work with quants to integrate new products and handle a variety of complex products. The role requires diagnosing problems, providing 2nd and 3rd level support, and having meaningful conversations with traders to understand their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the application using C# 4.8 and framework 4.8.
  • Work on smaller development items, bug fixing, and implementing new products and features.
  • Integrate new products with API consumers and build out the UI for end-user features.
  • Deploy and release the application, following bureaucratic processes.
  • Improve the build and test environment and deliver functionality to FX trading, sales, and other systems.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the application and diagnose issues related to calculations or other technical aspects.

Technical Skills:

  • Must have strong C# skills (3-5 years of experience).
  • Experience with C# 4.8 and framework 4.8.
  • Understanding of mathematical and option products.
  • Experience in a front-office trading or pricing environment.
  • SQL Server and Python experience are nice to have.
  • Familiarity with Solace messaging is a plus.

Business Skills:

  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems.
  • Experience working with traders and understanding their requirements.

Team and Culture: The team consists of 14 people located in London, Singapore, Prague, and New York. There are 2 people in London, with the addition of this new hire making it 3. The team works on-site on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Compensation:

  • Basic Salary up to 100k
  • Performance-dependent bonus for individual and bank.

Interview Process:

  • Initial screening call.
  • 2-hour onsite interview (1 hour technical, 1 hour team fit).
  • Psychometric test prior to onsite interview.
