Team Overview

The Macro Middle Office Trade Processing and Position Team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and automating systems that process trade executions into position-keeping platforms. These systems support a broad range of financial products and asset classes including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and credit. The team operates globally, with personnel and service providers across North America, Europe, and Asia. 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, including manual and automated tests for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Create and execute test cases to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with software development and support teams to deliver high-quality applications.
  • Align stakeholders and developers around clear, testable acceptance criteria.
  • Document QA processes and workflows.
  • Promote best practices in quality assurance and testing.
  • Ensure software changes meet business, legal, compliance, and technical requirements.
  • Build and maintain test automation frameworks for trading-related applications.
  • Track QA metrics such as capacity, velocity, and deliverables.

What’s Required

  • 5+ years of experience in QA, test automation, software engineering, or business analysis.
  • Experience with portfolio management systems such as Murex and/or Orchestrade.
  • Strong understanding of position management for listed and OTC products.
  • Expertise in trade capture, trade processing, lifecycle events, corporate actions, position and PnL calculations, and cash management.
  • Development experience in Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with databases.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
