Job Description
Due to the continued success of Caspian One's Consultancy arm, I am working with a large Tier 1 Investment Bank.
They are looking for experienced ION SME's to join the Fixed Income Rates and Credit Team in New York! Do you have experience in Crafting solutions using ION tools extracting crucial information from business stakeholders and translating them into clear IT requirements.
They need someone who can:
- Develop solutions to key business challenges using the ION tools at our disposal
- Elicit key information from business stakeholders, transforming these into concise IT requirements
- Manage UAT and demonstration sessions with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with other global IT teams
- Assist production operations team in rollout and production support
Your qualifications should include:
- Minimum 5 years in ION MMI at an SME level
- Expertise in ION core platform, AQ, NegLib, etc. at an SME level
- A strong understanding of bond pricing In-depth knowledge of Rates and Credit bonds and derivatives Familiarity with trading venues such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb
- Expert in Unix and SQL
While not strictly required, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable:
- Automated testing and continuous integration experience Proficiency in Python, Perl, and other scripting languages
- Experience in maintaining and enhancing existing Java integrations with the ION Platform
- Knowledge of integrating ION with Kafka
